I like going places

Today marks the 99th anniversary of the beginning of the Armenian Genocide by the Ottoman Turks, in which over 1 million Armenians were killed.  It is unbelievable to me that in the 21st century the Turkish government continues to deny this event, and that other countries are so worried about offending them that they fail to recognize it.  Though I have no Armenian heritage, it was the first country I ever visited outside of the US and will always hold a special place in my heart.  I am grateful to my Armenian colleagues, and look forward to continuing a strong working relationship with the amazing people I’ve met in this wonderful country.
